King Carlos III He was briefly hospitalized on Thursday in continuous medical treatment for cancer, according to Buckingham Palace.
The hospitalization of Charles was the result of “temporary side effects” that he experienced after undergoing what the palace described as “programmed and continuous medical treatment for cancer” Thursday morning.
After a “short observation period” in the hospital, the 76 -year -old king returned to Clarence House, his real residence in London, according to the palace.

As a result of hospitalization, Charles’s commitments on Thursday afternoon and Friday postponed.
“His Majesty would like to send their apologies to all those who may be annoying or disappointed as a result,” said the palace in a statement on Thursday night.
Charles’s cancer diagnosis was announced by Buckingham Palace in February 2024, shortly after he underwent treatment for enlargement of the benign prostate.
By announcing the diagnosis of Charles, the palace did not specify the type of cancer, the cancer stage or the type of treatment that is experiencing or planning to submit.

After spending several weeks to the public eye, Charles visited A cancer treatment center on April 30, 2024, in its first real public commitment since its own diagnosis.
Since then, Charles has resumed a more regular schedule of public duties.
On Wednesday, he visited an exhibition at Somerset House in London and later that night he attended a reception at Buckingham Palace.
